| Main Roles & Responsibilities: - Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of supplier quality. - Interface with other departments on quality issues and control to ensure company's quality standards are consistently maintained. - Provide guidance and support to HDD drive and PCBA failure analysis to interface with supplier on their quality problems & issues. - To ensure customer quality problems & issues is resolved in a satisfactory manner. - Job typically requires a college degree in a engineering field or applied sciences. IT Engineers typically require a college degree in computer engineering or computer science. Engineers in IT typically - - work with hardware and network connectivity instead of computer programming (which is done by Programmer/Analyst or Systems. - Analyst classifications). Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. - Conceives and develops solutions to engineering programs through the application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices and procedures. - Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Typical duties: Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment. Analyzes reports and returned products, and recommends corrective action. - Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures. Education &Competency Requirements - Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. - Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. |
