Financial Controller

Milacron Inc., a world leader in manufacturing technologies, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance team of the company’s manufacturing joint venture in Jiangyin, Jiangsu province.

This position reports to the General Manager of the joint venture. This person will also have a strong dotted-line reporting relationship to the Corporate Controller in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is an exciting opportunity to work in an important role in a U.S.-based multinational manufacturing company. 

The successful candidate will exhibit the following skills and traits:

Responsibilities:

? Lead the operation’s finance team:

? Cost Accounting
? Budgeting
? Financial Analysis
? Statistic reports to local institutions
? Develop and implement methods for analyzing and improving profitability and cost structure
? Strict adherence to corporate reporting requirements and deadlines
? Develop, in cooperation with the General Manager, detailed forecasts, budgets, and operating plans
? Analyze profitability and cost of new business
? Develop regular and ad-hoc Cash Flow forecasts
? Ensure compliance with PRC financial reporting requirements:
 VAT, Tax Filings, etc.

Requirements:

? Bachelor degree with focus on finance and accounting
? Minimum eight years experience in a manufacturing operation with hands-on responsibility for costing and inventory control
? Extensive knowledge of Chinese accounting rules and regulations and US GAAP
? Experience with Hyperion and UF is advantageous
? Proven experience with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
? Proven ability to establish an effective internal control environment
? Skilled in Microsoft Office, email and other business software
